The History of Skalla og Skegg

The name "Skalla og Skegg", meaning "Bald and Beard", comes from a founder's memory.

Working in a kindergarten, the children called him "Skalli" because of his baldness.

By adding the reference to his unmistakable and characteristic beard, "Skalla og Skegg" was born.

Who we are

"Skalla og Skegg" is a meat production company founded by an Italian who has lived in Iceland since 2014.

Its aim is to make people discover Italian products made with Icelandic meat.
